Practice Areas:

Gwen Nolan King concentrates her practice in complex business, employment, real estate and product liability litigation. Gwen has successfully represented clients in complex commercial disputes before both federal and state judiciaries. In addition to representation in litigation, Gwen regularly advises clients on contractual negotiations and employment issues in an effort to reduce the risk of future litigation.

Gwen is committed to donating her time to represent those in need. Over the years Gwen has donated pro bono representation through the Women’s Bar Foundation’s Family Law Project and the Volunteer Lawyers Project. While in law school, Gwen worked extensively on post-conviction capital appeals in Houston, Texas through the Texas Defender Service and Cornell Law’s Death Penalty Project.

Prior to returning to Boston and joining SRBC, Gwen worked as a litigator at Sperling & Slater, a prominent litigation boutique in Chicago. Gwen began her career in Boston as a litigation associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart.

Representative Experience:

  • Lead counsel representing dozens of plaintiffs in product liability suit.
  • Advises and represents major supplier of automobile components in contractual negotiations and disputes.
  • Secured dismissal of employment discrimination claim against private college.
  • Conducted Title IX investigation for private college. 
  • Achieved favorable settlement for commercial retailer in wrongful termination suit. 
  • Won dismissal on behalf of product manufacturer in product liability suit.
  • Obtained favorable settlement for major entertainment venue in breach of contract litigation.
  • Won summary judgment against manager of LLC in breach of fiduciary duty action. 
  • Attained favorable settlement for guarantors in multimillion dollar claim by a major bank. 
  • Won summary judgment in favor of a trustee against breach of fiduciary duty claims.
  • Assisted in securing favorable settlement on behalf of university in real estate dispute with municipality. 
  • Advised non-profit residential community on issues related to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
